This 2-1/2” shell is stocked up with a 1/2 ounce charge of #6 shot. That’s 113 pellets total, which won’t create the densest spread imaginable, although Winchester’s perfectly globular and rigid lead pellets do deliver a narrow pattern all the same. The shot pellets are further safeguarded against deformation by the hinged wad which pushes them down the barrel – a component which also softens out recoil to some degree.

This ammunition is loaded with trustworthy 209 primers and propellant that burns up fast to curtail fouling. High-brass and concentric hulls ensure smooth feeding and extraction in all firearms.
