This shotshell’s recoil-reducing features hardly make it ineffective. Its single ounce of #7.5 lead shot comprises 350 individual pellets which will immediately pulverize any clay on impact, and its 1,180 fps muzzle velocity is still significantly faster than the speed of sound. That means you won’t have to lead very far ahead with your aim, nor will you find distant clays inaccessible. But one ounce and 1,180 fps is still light for a shot column and relatively lower for a muzzle velocity, and the same hinged wad which promotes thicker pattern density mitigates felt recoil even further.
Winchester loads their AA line of ammunition in the USA with high-quality components: low-residue powder, primers that react correctly to the strike of a firing pin, and smooth, reloadable low-brass hulls.
