Details

First came Winchester’s Silvertip. Then Speer one-upped them with their Gold Dot. Now Winchester has taken the lead again with their AA Diamond Grade line of shotgun ammunition – their finest target shooting shells to date.

This 12 Gauge shotshell is loaded with one full ounce of #7.5 shot, an extremely popular choice for trap and sporting clays if only because it does so well at pegging dove, grouse, and other birds whose flight patterns are mimicked by whizzing clays. AA Diamond Grade high antimony lead shot is special because it is sorted to guarantee its ultra uniform dimensions, and further copper plated to make deformation impossible. In conjunction with Winchester’s AA wad, which cups the shot neatly until it cleanly detaches upon exiting the muzzle and absorbs shock to reduce felt recoil, these shells are poised to deliver the tightest, most uniform spreads you’ve ever witnessed. If you walked up to the stacks of clays and started hitting them with a hammer you couldn’t break them more efficiently.

This shell’s handsome black hull is ready for reloading as soon as you empty out its hard copper plated shot. The shell's low friction nickel plated head feeds smooth as syrup, and its clean burning propellant and non-corrosive primer are matched to create a steady 1,250 fps muzzle velocity, making performance all the more standardized.
