This shell’s 7/8 ounce column of #7.5 shot and 1,300 fps muzzle velocity both suit it perfectly for trap in addition to sporting clays (and we’re sure it’d hold its own on the hunting grounds as well). Winchester combines extra hard lead shot pellets with the collapsing performance of their hinged AA wad to promote tighter pattern density by preventing significant shot deformation. The AA wad also absorbs a goodly amount of recoil energy before it can resonate its way back to your shoulder.
Winchester’s explosive components are dependable, consistent and clean-burning. Once they have burned, you’ll find that the Big W’s banana-yellow low-brass hulls are optimal for handloading!
