32 H&R Magnum fun is close at hand! With a cylinder (or tubular magazine) full of Federal Premium’s own American Eagle series ammunition, the world will be your oyster – or whichever other type of mollusc you prefer!
The original creator of the 32 H&R Magnum certainly knows how to make their own cartridge. Federal’s brass cases are pin straight and reloadable, and are primed with the Minnesotan company’s very own Boxers. The powder burns clean – not without a trace, but certainly without leaving behind excessive fouling.
Federal made this ammo’s bullets without steel; just the copper and lead which don’t upset magnets. The jacketed soft point isn’t billed as a personal protection bullet, but it is promised to deliver recoil and velocity that are right in keeping with a dedicated self-defense load’s performance. For reference, the 85 grain bullet’s muzzle velocity is 975 fps out of a 4-V barrel, which is 50 fps lower than Federal’s Hydra-Shok Deep series 32 Mag ammunition.
