IMI Systems (formerly Israel Military Industries, or “תע"ש מערכות ,התעשייה הצבאית” if you speak Hebrew) makes this ammo for any 9mm pistol or carbine which may one day need to defend its owner’s life.
This round is loaded with a 115 grain di-cut jacketed hollow point bullet. The “di-cut” really isn’t something to get hung up on – this is a true JHP, which is designed to penetrate to a depth of about 12” in soft tissue while expanding 1.5 times or more in diameter. IMI optimizes this bullet’s profile to prevent feeding jams in a semi-auto, and the rim of its nose cavity sports aggressive notching which strategically weakens the jacket for more reliable terminal expansion.
IMI’s new production ammo features non-corrosive Boxer primers, which are sealed just in case they ever get caught in the rain. This nonmagnetic ammo is brass-cased, so you can take it to indoor ranges without getting disappointed.
