IMI loads this ammo with their own di-cut jacketed hollow point projectiles. They have black paint on their tips, but that coloration is purely cosmetic and will not impact performance. The di-cut bullet’s jacket contour is specially designed to promote highly reliable feeding into a semi-auto’s waiting chamber. Better yet, this bullet’s nose cavity is optimized to ensure terminal expansion in excess of 1.5 times the bullet’s original 0.355” diameter!
IMI’s primary job is loading ammo for the nation of Israel’s military and law enforcement agencies, but this is not surplus ammo that has been sitting in a warehouse for eons. Its non-corrosive Boxer primers and modern powder work together to keep a firearm clean and operational, and its new brass cases would make exemplary reloading components.
