Close your eyes. Imagine all your troubles are melting away. You’re at the range. You’re holding a 308 Win rifle. You’ve got 500 rounds of proper target ammunition. You’re going to fire that ammo and enjoy every second of it. It’s too bad you can’t read all of that with your eyes closed, or you’d feel might mighty relaxed right about now.
This ammunition is manufactured by Armscor, an ISO 9001 certified company that strictly adheres to SAAMI specifications when they mint 308. Each cartridge is topped with a 147 grain full metal jacket projectile. It’s a non-expanding bullet – certain not to make life more pleasant for any living thing that it strikes, but suboptimal for hunting applications all the same. Its clean-burning payload of propellant launches the bullet to a muzzle velocity of 2,700 fps. That’s a touch lower than a 7.62x51 M80 load, so you may note slightly lower recoil.
These rounds’ bullets have cannelures to keep them safely planted in their brand new, polished solid brass and perfectly reloadable brass cases. Armscor hasn’t loaded a corrosive primer in several decades, so this recently manufactured ammo poses no risk of rusting your rifle.
