Details

Winchester designs their Ranger line of ammunition with the important needs of law enforcement professionals in mind. While Winchester’s ammo is dependable as a rule, they pore especial attention into their cop loads – cops talk, as it so happens, and they’re quick to inform one another when they’ve identified subpar ammo.

Even if the last time you’ve worn a badge was during Halloween, you can still benefit from Ranger ammo. This 40 S&W cartridge has many benefits indeed, because it features a 180 grain full metal jacket enclosed base projectile. Like a traditional FMJ, it promotes smooth feeding, a cleaner bore, and great downrange accuracy. The FMJE goes even farther by preventing the evaporation of lead in its core during ignition, thus preventing you from working on your aim in a thick haze of toxic lead particles.

These cartridges will swim in and out of your chamber courtesy of their brass casings’ uniform dimensions, and promote even more certain cycling with their consistent primers and propellant charges. This ammo is designed to have only a minimal impact on your weapon’s action and bore, so you won’t have to go the extra mile while cleaning!
