Do you like country music, beer, and driving large, noisy vehicles? Then we’re willing to bet you have yet another interest: AR-15 rifles! If we’ve successfully guessed at the type of guy you are, then brother, have we ever got half a thousand rounds of 5.56x45mm NATO ammo with your name on it.
This is an M193 spec cartridge, which only means it’s the simplest type of 5.56 load you could enlist for target practice. Ignition will push the 55 grain bullet out of a 20” barrel at a rate of 3,240 feet per second. Hornady’s own full metal jacket is smooth-feeding and accurate, yet still economical enough to support your high-volume shooting goals. Nonmagnetic!
Hornady didn’t load this ammo’s bullets. The U.S. government’s Lake City Army Ammunition Plant did, hence its military-grade Boxer primers and reloadable brass cases. This newly manufactured ammo’s cases are annealed. You can tell just by looking at them!
