This cartridge features a 36 grain lead hollow point projectile. Its lead construction is a large part of the reason for its affordability, and its softness lets it deform and tumble within soft targets to cause great damage. The bullet’s hollow point causes it to expand substantially as well, further suiting this round for effectively hunting squirrel, rabbit, and racoon.
This cartridge also features a non-corrosive rimfire primer and brass casing. It’s content to sit and wait for ages, so 5,000 of them ought to keep you well-stocked for as long as you might need them.

That is exactly what happened to my AR-15/22 Long Rifle.
Picking chunks of lead out of the comp.
It took hours to get the barrel cleared out.
I wasn't mag dumping.
Never got to the bottom of a single bulk box.
Use only copper clad bullets ! The word from Walther Hammerli Tac R1 22lr manufacturer.
Federal / Remington golden or CCI have been working fine. (Posted on 9/4/19)
