Q: What is the muzzle energy of this load? Do you offer 10mm loads with higher levels of muzzle energy suitable for defense against large dangerous game?

A: Hi Jim. Thanks for looking to BulkAmmo.com for your ammo needs. The muzzle energy of this particular 10mm round is 424 ft/lbs. The 10mm, while one of the "kings" of combat rounds, is a pitifully weak round for large dangerous game at its very best. The hottest, highest energy round made (to my knowledge) is only 728 ft/lbs of energy at the muzzle. By comparison, the 5.56 round generates nearly twice that amount of energy and no one would consider it a large, dangerous game round. Let me know if we can help you pick the right round for you. Q: how do these feed in a kimber 1911 rapide 10 mm ?

A: Hi Roger. We have had no shooter complaints about these in any handgun. They should work well, but as you know, handguns can be finicky about the rounds they prefer. I suggest you try a single box before you invest in an entire case.
