Details
A 250 round case lot of shells that are purpose built for range duty to keep the clays company. This is Remington’s nod to the mundane rounds of the world and the company offers an excellent product for the intended purpose. This is a #8 shot with a 1-ounce payload that has moderate recoil, but nothing that will hurt you. Performance is not mundane though, and these round actually perform quite admirably. They are for practice, for competition and for even small game hunting. The uses for a good quality #8 shot, shotshell are varied and numerous.
Useful for prolonged sessions on the skeet or trap range and the moderate to mild recoil profile helps to keep the nuisance of shoulder pain from long shooting sessions to a minimum. While the load is marketed as a gun club load, it is also suitable for squirrel, rabbit and pigeon, among other small game animals and gamebirds.
A Zinc plated steel shell base keeps round costs down, but makes it a bit more difficult to reload, so if a reloadable shell is a sticking point, these aren’t as reliable as donor cartridges even if they are exceptionally reliable for shooting. So reliable in fact, that they have been the go-to shell for many thousands of hunters and clay shooters for decades.
