There are lots of reasons to use frangible ammunition. Maybe you’re doing some training at the range and want to avoid splash-backs or ricochets; maybe you’re looking for self-defense ammunition that minimizes the risk of over-penetrating and harming innocent bystanders. Whatever your reason, if you’re looking for quality frangible 12 gauge shotgun ammunition, pick up this box of frangible Disintegrator slugs from Remington Defense.

Every 12 gauge shell in this box of 25 is 2-3/4” long and holds a 5/8 oz. lead-free frangible slug that instantly shatters when impacting a steel target or backstop. The sabot slug provides performance the closely matches standard slugs, making it a great training round (especially for ranges with restrictions on lead ammunition). The shell is loaded with low-recoiling powder and a non-corrosive shotshell primer to reduce fouling in your barrel so you can practice more and clean less.

One of the oldest firearms manufacturers in America, Remington has worked tirelessly for over a century to build a reputation for reliability and innovation in their firearms and ammunition. Remington Defense specializes in user-customizable weapons and specialized ammo for particular tactics or situations.
