Details

Rimfire ammunition is a generally inexpensive solution for plinking, practice, and training new shooters. These .22 Long Rifle loads from Remington's Golden Bullet brand are great for any of the aforementioned purposes as well as for hunting when you intend to preserve as much of the meat and pelt as possible. Each cartridge houses a 40-grain copper-plated round nose (CPRN) projectile which matches a large amount of practice and hunting loads. An enlarged bourrelet makes greater surface area contact with rifling and increases spin stability. Likewise, the copper plating helps to protect the round from deformation for more accuracy while also reducing the amount of lead fouling left in the barrel.

The bullet is contained within a rimfire brass casing that is primed with a non-corrosive ignition mixture. This keeps harmful chemicals from eroding your bore and action. The .22 LR CPRN bullet is great for paper targets, Appleseed marksmanship clinics and events, and solid-point hunting with proper shot placement on birds and small game. Remington has over two centuries of experience in manufacturing both firearms and ammunition. Their adept understanding of the U.S. shooting culture allows them to produce some of the finest, most affordable ammunition available.
