A perfect load to have around for the odd jobs, especially on a working ranch or around a big property. The cartridge is potent enough to put down a cow for butchering, and yet it won’t trigger the other livestock around the property. It is also a suitable small game option inside of about 40 yards. The capability of the round to remain quiet while still offering terminally effective ballistics makes it a very good choice for the person who frequently has nuisance animals on their property.
One of the biggest selling features (as if any previous user of the .22 short needs further catalyst to purchase) is the Remington name on the box. The Golden Bullet line has been a mainstay for decades within the rimfire loads offered by Remington. The popular and well respected green and yellow box offers a bit of nostalgia and adds a load of confidence to the purchase and the implementation of the round, as Remington has been proven to offer its top tier ammunition through these brand colors.
The reliability and consistency of this load is superb. The same mishaps and failures to fire that you find in most other brands are few and far between with the Remington lines of rimfire. This is a 29 grain Rimfire .22 Short cartridge.
