Hornady V-Max has been an outstanding product for years. I have used it in .17 HMR as well.

Perfect ammo for my Savage 92. Other brands do not load cleanly, but the V-tip on these helps them slide right in. Very accurate and effective on small game. Nice pop out to 150 yds on a 2-3 in. target. (Posted on 7/19/2014)

A: Certainly, if it's chambered for 22 Mag then it's chambered for 22 WMR as well – they're two names for the same cartridge!

A: The Muzzle velocity out of the 24" test barrel from Hornady is 2200 fps with a muzzle energy of 322 ft. lbs. As the barrel length shortens, the velocity will also decrease slightly as well.
