Brown Bear .223 Remington ammunition is one of the best built cheap AR-15 rounds on the market and that reputation continues. They come loaded with a 55 grain FMJBT or Full Metal Jacket Boat Tail bullet with a thick copper jacket, heavy lead core, and Boat Tail construction. These 62 grain FMJ BT bullets are loaded into heavy-duty, non-reloadable, new, thick-walled, non-corrosive, Berdan primed, steel lacquered cases. They have an impressive muzzle velocity of 3,133-feet per second and a heavy-hitting muzzle energy of 1,193-foot pounds. These Brown Bear rounds are made in Russia and imported into the USA for all your .223 needs. Whether it’s a day of shooting steel targets, a family range trip that includes your friends, or maybe a day of ranging in your new firearms. Get yourself as many of these 20 round boxes as you can afford today, so the next time you want to go out shooting, you'll have a steady supply of ammo. Get some now!

The .223 Remington cartridge is famous for its speed, accuracy, and consistency. Designed in 1962, the .223 Remington has been around long enough for many companies to bring out various bullet sizes and bullet designs. The 5.56 NATO cartridge is a close cousin to the .223 Remington as well, although the 5.56x45 NATO differs from the .223 Remington slightly. The differences of the two rounds are in the amount of pressure that comes from the case upon ignition and in the dimensions of each chamber. Keep in mind that you should never chamber 5.56x45 NATO rounds in any .223 Remington ONLY rifle or pistol. The rifle or pistol will be marked ".223 Remington Only" if that’s what it’s meant to chamber. If it says "556 NATO", you should be able to chamber both without any issues. The chamber lead distance differs in both calibers, that is why you cannot use 556 in a 223 without creating problems. This size differential can cause a lot of problems with the amount of pressure inside the .223 chamber.
