Few rifles in history have enjoyed the popularity and effectiveness of use as the .223 caliber Armalite Rifle. Using the Federal 55 grain 223 FMJBT, this popular rifle has become one of the most accurate and lethal rifles in our recent history.

The 55 grain full metal boat jacket boat tail design is unique for two reasons. The boat tail recess at the end of the round stabilizes the bullet in flight by creating an even weight distribution across the bullets surface, and mitigating the effects of wind shear in flight. These rounds are a great choice for grabbing your AR-15 and shooting for an afternoon at the range.

Polished brass cartridges provide a water resistant barrier to keep the round propellants dry in the field, and make for a reliable extraction even during cyclic rapid fire situations that test a rifles internal components to their max.

Civilian competition shooters and law enforcement personal alike looking to improve the accuracy and CQB performance will be well supplied with this Federal 55 grain .223 full metal jacket boat tail.
