500 Rounds of .223 Ammo by Wolf - 55gr FMJ

Out of Stock

Ammo Overview

Quantity - 500 rounds in sealed pack
Manufacturer - Wolf
Bullets - 55 grain full metal jacket (FMJ)
Casings - Boxer primed steel

This is a very good deal on high quality steel case ammunition for your AR-15 or other .223 chambered firearm. The non-reloadable cartridges offer a steep discount to brass cased loads, while still offering consistent reliable performance without many drawbacks, save the lack of reloadable casings. The steel cartridges work well in most military style clones and will work in bolt action rifles with no issues, but work best in firearms that are not tuned for competition match shooting which would otherwise have a very tight chamber or very close tolerances made specifically for ultra-match shooting levels.

The 55 grain FMJ projectile offers a good range of options for barrel twist rates and for a range of uses in most settings you will encounter using your firearm in .223. This round is suitable for hunting if your regulations allow it, and the accuracy is above average. The steel cases tend to run really well with military style semi autos but are suitable and can easily be used out of other platforms. The ample powder charge and Boxer primer ensure solid ignition and good functionality from feeding through extraction. Wolf is known for its highly reliable steel cased rounds and has produced some very good ammunition throughout the years. This is no exception.
