Each box contains a 10 round row of Federal .223 ammo from Lake City on stripper clips, which used in conjunction with a stripper clip guide makes loading up your magazines extremely easy. You can also reuse these clips to store and reload other .223/5.56 ammo.

These 900 rounds of .223 are loaded with 55 grain full metal jacket boat-tail projectiles. American Eagle .223 is one of the most popular brands of .223 ammo and is made here in the USA. Federal uses high quality, non-magnetic brass casings and each round has a boxer primer. Take some of the pain out of practice and focus on punching holes in paper.

A: This is service ammunition, not match ammunition. If you are looking for the best (as in most accurate) ammo that you can buy in this caliber, look for match ammo loaded with a Sierra MatchKing bullet. If you are looking for reliable and "service accurate" ammo that won't break the bank, this Federal American Eagle ammo is a good choice.

A: That depends on what they want out of the ammo. Grains refers to the weight of the bullet - there are 7000 grains in a pound. The heavier the bullet, generally, the longer it will be, and the more suited it is for long range shooting. A boat tailed bullet design aids in reducing bullet drop and wind drift at long range. These 55gr FMJBT bullets will be accurate out to 500 yards.
