Details

A great bargain, given the component choice and build quality of this reloadable, accurate range ammunition option from the PMC Bronze line. A very straightforward choice, as is most of the offerings of the PMC Bronze line, this 55 grain weight projectile load is well suited across the board in a wide variety of barrel twist rates and styles of firearms.

Brass that is reloadable easily thanks to the boxer priming and the brass casing, the value added bonuses of this manufacturer’s line gives shooters a lot to be happy with, from the PMC Bronze line. The relatively clean burning powder and good ballistic performance numbers paired with a hunting suitable soft point projectile means you can easily justify spending this kind of money for this round full-time. The possibility for this round to replace your normal bulk .223 purchases, is very high. Not only does it compete with rounds that have less versatility but the reliability and history of the manufacturer, and the line means that you won’t be disappointed later on down the line.

Expect about 3200 feet per second of muzzle velocity from this cartridge and 1250 ft. lbs. of energy gives you an excellent mid-range performance for a round that can genuinely be used for hunting, target shooting, and self-defense - an excellent bargain proposition.

A: I'm happy to say this ammo contains no steel at all! Unless it's M855 you're safe with PMC's 223/5.56.
