A brand of Barnaul Cartridge Plant JSC, in Barnaul Russia, Silver Bear ammo gets its name from the polished zinc pated steel used on the casings. It is one of their Bear product line that also include Golden Bear and Brown Bear ammo. They are berdan-primed, non-corrosive and non-reloadable. These .223 hollow point projectiles will expand on impact and make great hunting and self defense rounds.

They managed to move all their production to Barnaul, which is where they exist to this day.
