Ammo Casing - Boxer-primed nickel-plated brass

If you choose to brandish a rifle for home defense, the ammunition you choose is critical. This .223 by Hornady Critical Defense is engineered to knock down a threat with hefty force without over-penetrating the target.

Hornady achieves this high level of performance by loading each cartridge with a 73gr. polymer Flex Tip projectile. The 73gr. bullet generates a muzzle velocity of 2790 fps, while the Flex Tip keeps it free of expansion inhibiting materials like heavy fabric. Once it contacts the target, the bullet folds back on itself to form a tissue crushing mushroom shape.

Each premium component used to construct these Critical Defense cartridges is meant to compliment their impeccable performance. Highly visible nickel-plated brass casings make chamber checks easy while also facilitating smooth and proper feeding and ejecting. Low flash powders and Boxer-primers ensure dependable firing. The new-production nickel-plated brass casings are non-corrosive and reloadable.

This 200-round bulk case of .223 Rem ammo by Hornady Critical Defense is the perfect opportunity to stock up on premium self-defense ammo. Order yours today!
