Sellier & Bellot, a Czech manufacturer, has been around since 1825 and belongs to the Brazilian CBC ammo group. As part of CBC's directive, they've created this .300 AAC Blackout ammunition as part of a push for more specific projectiles made expressly for the caliber. This initiative has helped to lower costs and push bulk packs like this 500-round package out into the market for shooters who like to run demanding drills and attend professional classes. Sellier & Bellot themselves are known as a high-quality import brand of ammunition with a wide range of products.

Each of these rounds features a purpose-driven full metal jacket (FMJ) projectile that weighs in at 124 grains. The lightweight load is ideal for plinking and self-defense focused drills as it offers manageable recoil. The bullet's sleek ogive and tapered tip lend it smooth, reliable feeding along with accurizing drag resistance while in-flight. A reloadable brass casing is crimped to the projectile's major diameter and comes equipped with a non-corrosive Boxer primer. This ammunition is a great choice for general purpose range use or plinking with the Daniel Defense ISR or Q Honey Badger.

A: Thanks for reaching out Louis! Sellier & Bellot recorded this round's 2,215 fps muzzle velocity and 0.288 G1/0.145 G7 BC with a 16.25" test barrel. There is no way for me to accurately estimate what its muzzle velocity would become out of a 8.25" barrel without conducting a chronograph test. I will reach out to the manufacturer to ask if they have the data you want on hand. I'll get in touch with you the instant I hear back from them!
