Ammo Overview

Quantity - 20 rounds per box
Manufacturer - Federal Premium
Bullets - 150 grain Nosler Partition soft point (SP)
Casings - Boxer-primed brass

This 308 Win cartridge by Federal features a 150 grain Nosler Partition soft point projectile. The technologically advanced bullet features a special lead alloy dual core, which provides excellent mushrooming at practically any velocity. Its fully tapered copper alloy jacket is designed to rupture at the bullet’s tip, but thickens gradually along its axis to control expansion. The bullet’s namesake partition causes the front of the bullet to expand greatly, while its rear remains intact to retain weight and promote penetration. Finally, the bullet’s special crimp locks at its base strengthen it, allowing it to resist deformation under the immense pressure of being fired. This unique two chambered design is absolutely devastating in action, and a sure bet if you want to take down big game fast. To top things off, this cartridge’s nickel plated brass casing will feed and eject as well as it resists corrosion, and is perfect for handloading courtesy of its Boxer primer.
