The MatchKing begins as a jacket; drawn to concentricity standard of ±0.0003” in maximum variation (a fancy way of saying it’s uniformly thick, and balanced). Hot, liquified lead is inserted through the MatchKing’s nose (the only reason why it has a hollow point, which does not serve the purpose of initiating terminal expansion), where it hardens in place to form a flawlessly distributed core. And the MatchKing’s not just stable in flight. Between its heavy, momentum-conserving 168 grain weight and low-drag nose and tail profiles, it has everything it needs to hug precisely the trajectory you intend it to.

A: Magtech has some products that are using the Sierra bullets. This particular product is not branded as such, so I do not think that it is. This may just be an in-house produced 168gr HPBT bullet. Many manufacturers make their own based on Sierra's designs. This can be done sometimes cheaper than paying for the name and reputation, thus saving you some money.

A: These are not magnetic rounds. They will be lead core and copper jacketed.

A: This cartridge would work, however it is not ideal. This cartridge is produced with target shooting in mind. It is designed with accuracy in mind not the ability to cause tissue damage and kill an animal.
