Details
These surplus 7.62x51mm cartridges are an excellent choice for high-volume drills and patient long-range practice with your CETME, FAL, or SCAR-17s. Each 300-round purchase comes packaged within its own .30 caliber, military-style ammo can. The steel box is durable, stackable, and includes a rubber gasket which seals the ammunition away from degradation. In addition, each can has a secure bail latch and foldable carry handle for spill-free transportation and storage. The ammunition itself was manufactured in the 1970s in Malaysia with close adherence to British L2A2 specifications.
The rounds were assembled using high-quality components to ensure their dependable function over time. These include non-corrosive Berdan primers which are fitted to brass casings with a ring of sealant which prevents moisture from entering the cartridge. Furthermore, the primers are triple-staked in order to prevent dislodgement that could induce a game-stopping malfunction. Each brass casing is annealed for safe flexibility and crimped to a Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) projectile. The FMJ will feed reliably in multiple actions and weighs in at 146 grains to match plenty of medium loads in both .308 Winchester and 7.62x51mm NATO. Shooters should note that this particular bullet's jacket is magnetic and might not be allowed at certain indoor ranges.

The ammo doesn’t look to be in great condition but it goes bang when I pull the trigger so I can’t complain. (Posted on 7/9/2018)

I purchased this ammo because of the price which is a good deal. I used this ammo in my M1A and it loved it no problems at all. It shot like it was made yesterday. The boxes in the can is marked as being made in 1979. (Posted on 9/24/2017)

I purchased this ammo because of the low price it is a great price by the way. I used it at the range Saturday and fired 120 rounds out of the 300 round and had on problems with it at all. Ever round fired with no problems just like it was made yesterday and by the way the boxes in the can say it was made in 1979 it did not shoot like it was 38 year old ammo. I am going to buy the 540 round can on pay day. My M1A loves this ammo. (Posted on 9/24/2017)
