A very good price on a 38 special round that can be used easily for a range of shooting, including target and plinking work, but also to include possibly for lightweight guns: the use of this ammunition for self-defense purposes. The heavy projectile and the standard .38 Special load offering means it can easily be handled in ultra-lightweight, highly concealable revolvers that cannot otherwise handle the more popular +P loadouts for the .38 Special. This is a 158 grain lead, semi-wadcutter design, and offers excellent performance on the firing range where the targets will show a very distinct bullet hole that can be helpful as you shoot for long sessions.

The Boxer primed brass and the easy reloading offered by it, are a nice value-added bonus to this already very reasonably priced ammunition by MagTech, a CBC subsidiary. MagTech has been in existence since 1990 and has been hugely popular in the self-defense and law enforcement segments of the market, where CBC has made massive inroads thanks to their aggressive innovation and research and development. This round offers about as classic a load as possible, but the innovation exists nonetheless for the entire product portfolio.
