Ammo Overview

Casings – Boxer-primed brass
Bullet Type – 90gr JHP
Quantity - 25 Rounds
Manufacturer - Hornady
Origin – Grand Island, NE
Suitable for – Self-Defense, Range/Target

"Train with your carry load" seems like an implausibly expensive proposition for most CCW holders. That's why Hornady developed American Gunner ammunition, which is designed (and priced) for both target practice and self-defense.

This .380 load is no slouch in the ballistics department, either. Each round in this box of 25 propels a 90 grain XTP jacketed hollow point to a muzzle velocity of 1,000 feet per second. These above-average specs allow compact .380 ACP carry pistols to punch above their weight, taking advantage of the XTP's strong penetration and expansion to deliver decisive blows against assailants.

Like other Hornady self-defense ammo, these cartridges use non-corrosive Boxer primers and brass cases.
