Ammo Overview

Quantity - 20 rounds per box; 50 boxes per case
Manufacturer - PMC Starfire
Bullet - 95 grain jacketed hollow point (JHP)
Casing - Boxer-primed brass

This 380 ACP cartridge from PMC’s Starfire line of ammunition offers a 95 grain jacketed hollow point projectile. Thanks to the patented rib and flute design inside its deep hollow point cavity, this bullet hyper-expands to nearly twice its original diameter upon impact to deliver tremendous stopping power. On average, Starfire ammunition penetrates 9 to 14 inches into a target, making this round ideal for self-defense. This round’s metal jacket does more than control expansion and facilitate penetration -- it additionally preserves your bore from lead fouling, letting you train with your pistol for longer in between cleanings.

PMC is based in South Korea, where they make ammunition for the civilian market in addition to their country’s military. The latter is a demanding client, and as such their products are made according to very high standards. All of their ammunition’s components are made from raw materials, so they can very precisely control for quality.
