PMC Bronze range ammo is a great
way to train with your firearm while keeping costs down. This 1000-round case
of .40 S&W ammo will do just that, delivering a clean, accurate shooting
experience at a reasonable bulk price. The 180 grain full metal jacket bullet
possesses typical ballistic traits for .40 Smith & Wesson, and should feed
well in everything from new M&Ps to Glock 23s and Browning Hi-Powers.
Expect a muzzle velocity of about 985 feet per second from these cartridges.

I have gone through 2000 rounds of PMC in my SA XD 3" subcompact with one FTF and one, maybe 2 FTE. All issues were after many rounds without a good cleaning. I use it in my P226 and my daughter uses it in her Stoeger Cougar. It feeds reliably with about 600rnds before creating enough debris before a quick cleaning is warranted. Brass cleans up nice for reloading. (Posted on 9/30/2014)

Q: Does these rounds contain lead that is unsafe in Indoor Ranges and that can cause barrel fouling?

A: Yes sir, this round's FMJ does contain a lead core. Its base is not jacketed, so it will produce aerosolized lead and barrel fouling during ignition. If you're concerned about those things during target practice, then I would recommend the total metal jacket (TMJ). The TMJ has a lead core, but its jacket completely seals the core against white hot propellant gasses during ignition. That translates to significantly cleaner performance all around.
