These were the first rounds of ammo I put through my Springfield 1911 EMP and not one issue. A fantastic buy! (Posted on 1/28/2020)

Great price for 650 rounds, especially a good brand like Remington. Came in a single bulk box, factory new, actually easier and less bulk & waste than thirteen 50-count cartons. You're welcome, Sierra Club. Shot the entire case over a few weeks, performed flawlessly. Will definitely buy again with confidence, except they don't always hit where I want, must be the gun.... :-| (Posted on 1/27/2020)

Good enough. But dirty! Very dirty. I generally don't clean my gun after every range day where I shoot a couple hundred rounds. But with this Ammo, you will want to, if not practically need to. I shot it yesterday with a clean gun. Ran 200 rounds through a Ruger SRc40. My hands and gun were black. Cleaning both took extra work and supply! In fact, I wiped down with the Range wipes about every 50 shots.
So if you don't mind getting dirty and needing a good gun cleaning post use, this ammo is for you. (Posted on 12/4/2019)

Just about to finish up my first crate of this .40 ammo. Zero failures of any kind. My Beretta PX4 Storm eats this stuff like Christmas candy. As soon as the wife’s not looking, gonna order another 650 round crate. (Posted on 11/24/2019)

Q: Hey there, Some Manufacturers mark their ammo as FMJ but are really TMJ (Total Metal Jacket - Meaning the lead bullet is completely encapsulated by the jacket and the back of the lead bullet is covered) At the range we normally pull bullets to check before we let them shoot them on the indoor range. Do you know if these are FMJ or TMJ - Thanks!
Posted On: 4/13/2020 By: Ed Price
A: Hello, Ed! It's our understanding that a metal case bullet is functionally identical to an FMJ. Still, we just reached out to Remington for you to confirm that this round's bullet is equivalent to an FMJ and not a TMJ.
Update: Remington just confirmed that a metal case is indeed an FMJ style projectile.
Q: What kind of bullet is the MC?
Posted On: 5/1/2014 By: Larry Baker
A: Hello Larry,
The 180gr. MC rounds by Remington in .40 S&W are a Full Metal Jacket design. MC stands for Metal Case which is Remington's version of an FMJ.
