Details
These .45 ACP cartridges are an
affordable and effective way to check the proper feeding of hollow points in
your firearm. The 185 grain jacketed hollow point, lighter than most .45 Auto
rounds, achieves faster-than-average muzzle velocity of 900 feet per
second. Each box contains 50 rounds with
Boxer-primed reloadable brass cases.
This jacketed hollow point design will achieve greater expansion than a full metal jacket round in a self-defense situation. However, CCW holders may want to also consider PMC’s Starfire series of premium JHPs for daily carry.
Precision Made Cartridges, or PMC, is the export brand of the Poongsan Corporation, a South Korean munitions company with a long history of fulfilling South Korean government contracts. As the name suggests, PMC ammunition is made to exacting standards in Poongsan’s factories. The company lives up to the “precision” label by manufacturing its own components to maintain a high level of control over quality, then subjecting the finished cartridges to electronic checks and other QC measures. Ammo that does not meet the required tight tolerances is rejected so that customers can enjoy a consistent shooting experience.

Fantastic Ammo! But, DO NOT USE with Chip McCormick magazines. They fail to feed properly. (Posted on 2/18/2021)

I tried the PMC JHP in my 1911 with the original and Chip Mccormick RPM magazines and they do NOT feed well. The ammo get jam in the mags facing down and with the slide pressure, it push the lead inside the brase case compressing the powder inside the round. Really dangerous... (Posted on 5/18/2017)

My Sig 1911 Scorpion fires all kinds of range ammo fine but was jamming every 10 rounds or so with HPR hollow points. Thought the gun was the problem, tried 100 rounds of this stuff tonight and was thrilled to know it's not my gun. Will be ordering more. (Posted on 9/13/2014)

I have been shooting PMC ammo since it came out. I have never had a misfire, or a round not go off. I have literally shot in the 10's of thousand rounds of 45, 223. While I prefer to reload, my go to ammo is always PMC (Posted on 12/8/2013)

I've been using this ammo in two Kimbers, and an XDs for a couple years now, and never had a failure of any kind. It's consistant, and accurate. I carry 185 grain JHP's in my everyday carry gun, so I use these for practice ammo. It bothers me that I used to buy them for cheaper for 50 rounds before the "shortage", but the bottom line is, I still buy them, mostly cause I like them. Check your gun Dave, maybe its just a light primer hit. (Posted on 8/22/2013)

Shot a lot of this through my XDm 45. No issues ever.
Same with their .223 ammo.
If it doesn't work check your gun! (Posted on 4/23/2013)

Even though PMC actually stands for "Precision Made Cartridges", it should stand for "Pretty Much Crap". I've seen about a 10% failure to fire with their primers.
At this much per round that's unacceptable just at the range. I would certainly never rely on their ammo for personal protection. (Posted on 4/4/2013)
