Projectiles - 185 grain +P Hydra-Shok Jacketed Hollow Point (JHP)
Ammo Casing - Boxer-primed brass

When it comes to self defense, you can't risk being limited by your ammunition. These 45 ACP +P rounds by Federal will ensure your personal safety is not being compromised.

Originally designed for law enforcement, these rounds have a powerful, 185 grain Hydra Shok jacketed hollow point bullet. Federal created this technology in response to the FBI wanting a bullet with better ballistics. It combines a center-post design and notched jacket to provide deeper penetration and further expansion than other JHP bullets. The center-post helps prevent clogging the hollow point to ensure it is able to properly expand on impact. The casings are nickel-plated brass which decrease corrosion, and have boxer primers that can be reloaded.

Federal Premium ammunition is an industry leader when it comes to self defense. Go with what's trusted.
