Details

This 45 Long Colt ammunition, by CCI, is great for pest control around your property or while camping or hiking. Each shell contains about 150 grains of #9 shot, with a muzzle velocity of 1000 feet per second. This shot has a minimal effective range, so you will have to be close to get a good lethal hit. The hard plastic cap on the end of this round is designed to break apart when in contact with the rifling of your barrel, so that the shot can have an unimpaired flight to your target. This specialty 45 Long Colt ammunition is hard to come by, so if you want any, now is the time to get it.

CCI does have some warnings that come along with this ammo. These shells are non-reloadable, and reloading should not be attempted. Do not use this ammo in weapons with ported barrels or ported recoil compensators. And, these shells are not made for use in 45 Long Colt rifles or in lightweight 45 Long Colt revolvers.
