Details

The venerable green-tip M855 62 grain Ball ammo from IMI (Israeli Military Industries) is brand new, high quality contract ammunition loaded to Mil and SAAMI spec for the 5.56x45. It features the SS109 (“Penetrator”) projectile and is run with an annealed case throat; a mouth sealant and a lacquer primer sealant.

An obvious choice for stocking on your ammo shelf this is the “real deal” AR-15 round. It’s reasonably priced and offers such reliability, versatility and accuracy, that it’s truly hard to beat for an all-purpose and a precision shooting round in any platform that accepts the 5.56. A perfect round really for the 1 in 7 twist, though you can push it’s versatility a bit within reason. This is a higher grain than most bulk ammunition and offers a fast, hard hitting load for the 5.56x45.

Pushing 3100 feet per second out of the muzzle this round is fast and flat shooting for this platform. It also adds significant heft to the projectile making the ballistics improved for certain tasks. The 62 grain projectile is an excellent all purpose round for long range shooting, small game and varmint hunting and target work. This super reliable load has a lot of fans because it’s proven to be consistent and fun to shoot.

Suitable for all 5.56x45 firearms packaged 30 rounds per box.
