Details

These 5.56 NATO mil-spec cartridges follow the M855 standard, delivering a muzzle velocity of around 3,100 feet per second with a distinctive green-tipped 62 grain bullet. Packaged in a case of 600, these rounds are a great way to get an authentic AR-15 experience in an economical package.

This ammunition is manufactured in South Korea by defense contractor Poongsan, which produces all of the components for its own ammo and uses electronic quality control systems to ensure consistency and reliability.

A: Yes sir. All M855 ammo (which has green-painted tips) is loaded with a "penetrator" bullet: core with lead rear section and steel front section. SS109 and F1 ammo have the same type of bullet. Almost all steel-cased ammo is loaded with bullets that contain steel as well.

A: Hi John. Thanks for reaching out. Yes, these PMC rounds are loaded and clipped to NATO standards as are the Magpul magazines. The mags are built to accommodate the clip adapter (or "spoon") needed as well. Give us a shout if you have further questions! --Ross
