In practice, the bullet will maintain its momentum as it punches through thick, intermediate layers of flesh before tumbling to the chest cavity and transferring game-dropping energy to vital organs. As the creator of the 6.5mm Creedmoor caliber, Hornady's choice to use a lightweight 129-grain projectile can be trusted on merit as well as on real-world performance. Each bullet is firmly crimped into a reloadable brass casing that is equipped with non-caustic Boxer primer.
