A 500 round case of some of the best 7.62x39 ammo you can find at really any price. Why is it some of the best? It’s a nearly identical replication of the old military surplus ammunition that you shot in the 1980’s and 1990’s that worked flawlessly in all your SKS and AK rifles. The non-reloadable steel case becomes almost a moot point as the rounds for this caliber have always been non-reloadable by default for the Mil-Surplus rounds.
While most of the mil-surplus you are used to shooting from years back came with a 123 grain projectile, this 122 grain projectile has a negligible impact on performance. The lacquer coated case eases feeding concerns and the hollow point design offers great ballistics for the money. There is perhaps not a better deer round for the money with access to inexpensive mil-surplus firearms. The 500 round case is enough for several large plinking or target sessions.
If you have shot the military rounds you know this round well, it is a near spitting image and functionally it is identical. The feed the reliability of the load is spectacular. Not every caliber is perfect from Wolf, but this round, you can rest assured, is as good as any of the competition get. It is a stalwart performer.
