A: Hello Robert, The muzzle velocity of the Remington 115gr. FMJ round is 1145fps, and the muzzle energy is 335 ft.lbs. Definitely a solid FMJ round in 9mm.

A: This ammo should work great for range use in your 9mm Smith & Wesson. We would recommend quality hollow point ammo for home defense. You can search bulk 9mm ammo by "Projectile Type" on the left side of the page - then select "JHP" to see all our jacketed hollow point ammo.
