Federal Tactical Bonded cartridges are designed to provide reliable self-defense capability for law enforcement personnel. They get their name from the bonding process that keeps the lead core and copper jacket together, enabling them to punch through light cover and retain the ability to neutralize threats to the officer’s safety. The hollow point design delivers good expansion and stops the round from overpenetrating. This load uses a medium-weight 124 grain bullet and achieves a muzzle velocity of 1,160 feet per second. As a standard-pressure load, it is ideal for “pocket nines” such as the Kahr CW9, Sig P938, and Springfield XDS. Each box holds 50 Boxer-primed, nickel-plated cartridges.
