A great bulk deal reminiscent of the old school eastern bloc military surplus deals of the 1980’s and early 1990’s where millions of rounds of military specific ammunition flooded the American market and could be bought for pennies on the dollar. This Brown Bear 9x18mm Makarov ammunition is exactly what it says it is: IT WILL ONLY FIT AND SAFELY BE SHOT OUT OF THE MAKAROV 9x18.
For those who know this platform and need a good deal on bulk ammunition, this is about as good as it gets, both for quality of manufacture and for price point. The reliability of the guns and the reliability of this ammunition are on point with this special round offering a potent solution to small frame semi auto needs. The relative consistency of the round offered by the Brown Bear line for this 9x18mm caliber is excellent. The packaging is interesting but of no consequence as the ammunition contained within it is truly something special when it comes to feeding, ignition and general behavior for a small caliber handgun round.
94 grains, full metal jacket and offered in a steel casing and with a Berdan primer; this is not an easily reloadable cartridge and reloading is discouraged for a number of reasons. The effective ballistics of the cartridge are as follows by the numbers: 1013 feet per second velocity. 1000 rounds per case.

All pistols shoot tight groups...feed well with no issues feeding, firing & ejection....
When you see it offered for sale and in stock to ship grab it....
I have used Norinco, still have a small amount...
In closing, to each his own regarding hollow points use in 9x18... Barrel length, muzzle velocity does not yield expansion...so I only shoot ball...plus the cz's were not designed for HP ammo...I have some Hornady Pwrsonal defense rounds with a red tip insert to cause expansion...have not tried it yet, but I know it will feed well due to the insert completing the radius of the nose of the projectile...the cz's have a steep loading ramp... My Baikal Makarov feeds HPs fine...
But as in all things...your mileage may vary disclaimer applies
