A single AK-47 magazine? How long does that take to empty out – like, two seconds? If you never want to fire your AK for longer than two seconds, then be our guest. Don’t. But if you want to be able to pound beaucoup lead out of that Kalashnikov, then you’d better bite the bullet and order the whole ten-pack.

These 30-round 7.62x39mm magazines are South Korean military surplus, but they are not previously used. They are fresh-out-of-the-factory magazines, without scratches or corrosion or the myriad other signs of damage characteristic of actual war surplus.

These are unfancy magazines, as you can imagine. They are made of steel (including their rugged springs), and they have black coatings to protect (but not immunize) against corrosion. You may have to break the mag in a little before it’ll easily accept all 30 rounds, but that just means you’ll have yet another good reason to open up the old AK.
