So far 600 rounds through my XD MOD.2 no issues at all. This is my second purchase with Bulk Ammo. Very pleased with the price as I have checked out several other sites, Bulk Ammo beats them all. My most recent order( 1000 rounds of MAGTECH 45 ) showed up on time as usual, however the package was damaged and what appeared to be cut across the top of the box. When I opened the package I notice one box of 50 rounds is missing. Being a new gun owner and not sure about missing ammo, I contacted Bulk Ammo customer service explained my situation. I purchased a box of 50 with my new XD mod 2 and was given a free range visit. Ran all 50 through without a single issue. Accuracy is great. No ftf or fte like I have had with other bulk ammo in the past. I recently purchased a box of American Eagle to try another brand and found it to be less accurate for me. While I can not say this is the best ammo on the market based on only trying the two brands in this firearm I can say that in my experience I have never found a bulk/range ammo that has impressed me to this level. My only issue is it is not the cleanest ammo but I fully clean and oil after every trip to the range so this is not a big issue to me. I have never once had a problem with this ammo through the Ruger, Springfield, Kimber, and Sig 1911s. The problems people run into are bad magazines. This ammo is probably the best you can buy. I bought 1000 rounds of it in both 9mm and 45acp. Had a few hiccups from both my XDs 45acp and my m&p shield 9mm. 2 Cartridges would eject and 1 disnt fire from the shield. 2 cartridges didn't eject in my XDS. Both handguns were brand new..all that happened in the first 20 rounds of both. After that, not 1 hiccup from either. I sent it thru my Berretta cx4 with no hiccups. It was decent ammo for practice. I just ordered several thousand. Decent burn in the shield but a little dirty in the XDS. I have only fired around 50 rounds so far so my experience with this ammo is limited. The ammo is well made and packaged. It was 100% reliable in my Springfield 1911. It seemed very consistent, accuracy was good and it burned pretty clean. Overall a great product for plinking and the range.

I had quite a few issues with my Kimber Pro CDP II. I had FTE and FTC failures. Having said that I only shot 100 rounds and that was the guns first time out of the box so I am sure it has "limbered up" some. Had a couple stoppages with my SIG XO 1911 also. I might try it again. A: Hi John! This is more or less *exactly* the same kind of .45 ACP ammo your Tommy gun is designed to fire. Pretty much any halfway-decent quality .45 ACP 230 grain FMJ ammo with an advertised muzzle velocity of ~830 fps is right in the sweet spot. Magtech is generally considered a good brand. Blazer Brass, PMC, Prvi Partizan, and Federal American Eagle should all do right by you also, but I'm confident recommending this here ammo for your Tom.
