This 308 Win round features a 150 grain beveled profile protected hollow point projectile. (That’s a mouthful.) The tip of the bullet is flattened in four places, which permits it to reliably fold back during penetration to inflict exceptional damage. The nose cavity is exceptionally deep on this bullet as well, so it has got a lot of room for expansion. This bullet is made entirely of copper, so it retains the weight it needs to pierce its target deeply, and it’s also legal wherever lead bullets have been banned.
This cartridge cycles through a semi-automatic with ease thanks to its slick nickel plated brass casing. You can also count on its plating to protect this round against corrosion. Winchester loaded the cartridge with special flash suppressing propellant, so you’ll be able to hunt porkers in the dark without immediately losing your night vision.
