Details
You’ve already got the 45 ACP handgun. All that’s left is to secure the perfect ammo for personal protection. Sellier & Bellot’s XRG Defense line of ammunition is police grade, high-quality, and especially effective at its job thanks to the power of the solid copper hollow point.
This round’s SCHP bullet is light-for-caliber at 165 grains. The lead-free bullet’s muzzle velocity is hardly tame at 1,148 fps, and its ability to transfer over 450 ft lbs of energy to a close-range target means it’s more than capable of quickly neutralizing a threat. But despite all of that, this round still generates relatively soft recoil – a great advantage when you need to direct accurate rapid fire at a quickly advancing threat.
A monolithic bullet like this promotes superior accuracy by avoiding lead fouling of the barrel. It also penetrates reliably thanks to copper’s extreme resistance to fragmentation whether it’s passing through a barrier or the target itself. The SCHP’s wide and deep nose cavity provides equally reliably terminal expansion, protruding five flat and angular petals before coming to a rest within soft tissue.
This is Czech ammo, with factory fresh brass cases and matched Boxer primers and propellant charges to ensure steady functionality in all semi-autos.
