Yes – because the state is also home to Remington, which packages this UMC series 9mm jacketed hollow point ammunition in a convenient plastic bucket.

The jacketed hollow point is the preferred bullet for defense with a pistol. UMC is target-grade ammunition, however, so we’d advise loading something of higher quality in your EDC pistol’s magazine (though a bucket or two of this ammo would surely provide some peace of mind during a prolonged crisis). The 115 grain JHP excels at simulating the ballistic performance of a less economically friendly defense bullet, however, and its 1,145 fps muzzle velocity out of a 4” barrel speaks to its lower-recoiling nature.

Remington won’t do you dirty. Their propellant and Kleanbore primers both curtail fouling of the barrel, and their UMC series ammo is never loaded with remanufactured cases.
