Details
It’s its hollow point nose cavity where the G2 gets really interesting. The nose cavity is actually relatively shallow, and contains elastomer. Upon impact that pliant material is forced into the pressure formed core’s internal fissures, forcing them apart to produce a highly uniform mushroom pattern. The elastomer also helps keep the G2 clear of debris that could have impacted its terminal effect, giving it even better performance when barriers are involved.
This round’s brass casing is reliable as well. Plated with nickel, it is easier to spy in a darkened chamber, inherently resistant to corrosive forces, and furthermore reduces friction during feeding and extraction. What more could your everyday carry ask for?
