A: Speer used a 5" barrel to record this round's ballistic data: 950 fps MV, 461 ft lbs ME. Zeroed in at 25 yards, you can expect -1.7" bullet drop at 50 yards, -13.1" at 100 yards.
Q: Is this short barrel ammo, suitable for 3.3" sub-compact??

A: Thank you for reaching out, Johnathan! The manufacturer's cited 950 fps muzzle velocity for this cartridge was measured out of a 5" test barrel. Your weapon's shorter barrel ought to give this round a slower MV by comparison, but the G2 projectile is designed to expand over a range of velocities including lower ones. For practical self-defense distances we believe this ammo ought to serve you well, especially given that it is overpressure.
