Based in the Czech Republic, Sellier & Bellot has got an impressive setup. It’s not only the kind that can crank out massive amounts of a variety of different types of ammo, but also one that can achieve such a feat very economically. Cost-conscious shooters hold Sellier & Bellot in high regard, and you will too if this box of 45 Long Colt cartridges is the first you ever buy from them.

This bullet has got a 230 grain jacketed hollow point bullet, just the thing for effective personal protection. The bullet’s hollow point meplat enables it to expand quickly during penetration, dumping a great deal of energy in its target as it does so, and its copper-zinc alloy jacket both prevents barrel leading and assists in initial penetration. Around the rim of the bullet you will see little notches -- these promote predictable, uniform expansion. Keep these rounds’ reloadable brass casings, and take heart that their non-corrosive primers will stay potent for decades!
